Knit in Eco Wool - (100% Undyed Peruvian Highland Wool - 478 yds/250 g) - 2-4 skeins
Sizes - XS-4X (32 - 58.5" chest circumference)
Elizabeth wanted a "versatile long-sleeved cardigan" for her fall/winter wardrobe. Not too heavy, not too light, not too plain, not too complicated, something just right - a sweater that would be functional, versatile, and a staple for the wardrobe.
Common Ground is an open hooded cardigan sized from XS-4X that is knit seamlessly from the top-down. It is meant to be worn open, so it does not completely cover the chest. The yoke part is knit in garter stitch to give it some texture. Then the body incorporates a simple diamond eyelet stitch pattern that gives it that extra something special. A hood was included to really give it that autumnal feel, but since the hood is created by picking up stitches you could always forego adding it if you prefer.
Yay! So glad to see this here - I love The Brown Stitch's patterns and photography.
