Another Installment of Cool projects seen on Raverly

Cranberry Bliss Bar Cabled Beret (Cabled Beret by Ashely Elva - free pattern) was knit by knitcolic out of Cascade 220. One skein made this beautiful, classic beret.

Seaport Capelet (Magnum Capelet #3 by Karen Clements) was knit by snowspirit in Magnum. This cozy capelet is quick and easy - plus it is like wearing your own personal blanket!

Knittingquilter's Starry Mittens (Snowfall Mittens by Nichole Tavares - Free Pattern) were knit in Cascade 220 by knittingquilter. These mittens are beautiful - reminiscent of an early snowfall.

Raw Honey (Honey Cowl - Madelinetosh) was knit in Eco Duo by KMary. A simple slip stitch creates a warm, waffle-like fabric - a small decadence.

Little Girl Cardi (cardigan à empiècement arrondi by citronille) was knit by MoMoCraCra out of 1 skein of Cascade 220. This short sleeved cardigan is adorable and would be great for any little girl.

Honeycomb Cable Hat - Greenland

I got the brilliant idea this year to knit a number of people gifts. I managed to finish 6 projects in the month of December and write out the patterns for most of them. One of my favorites was this lovely cabled hat knit in Greenland . Greenland is one of my favorite yarns - it has this amazing springy twists and has fabulous stitch definition. Sadly, I seem to never get a chance to knit it. The finished hat shown is for an average adult - finished (unstretched) measurement is 7" wide and 8" long from the cast on edge. I cast on 88 stitches. It can easily be adapted to be smaller (cast on 80 stitches) or larger (cast on 96 stitches).
