This charming vest gets its tickle from lace ribbing extending from the top of the ribcage to the hem. This version is a go-with-anything color, but made in a favorite color, will tickle any girl's fancy.

A truly girly-pullover will be loved by any girly-girl. The all-over lace pattern is surprisingly easy to knit. It might look dainty, but modified drop shoulders and plenty of ease will keep her from sitting on the sidelines. Even the girly-est of girls has to keep up with her older brother!

When Chris was in grade school, all the girls in her family had school cardigans that would go to school on Mondays and return home to be laundered on Fridays. This is her version of a school cardigan to make in any color with fitted sleeves and a dainty "string of pearls" edging.

Honeycomb Cable Hat - Greenland

I got the brilliant idea this year to knit a number of people gifts. I managed to finish 6 projects in the month of December and write out the patterns for most of them. One of my favorites was this lovely cabled hat knit in Greenland . Greenland is one of my favorite yarns - it has this amazing springy twists and has fabulous stitch definition. Sadly, I seem to never get a chance to knit it. The finished hat shown is for an average adult - finished (unstretched) measurement is 7" wide and 8" long from the cast on edge. I cast on 88 stitches. It can easily be adapted to be smaller (cast on 80 stitches) or larger (cast on 96 stitches).
