Knit in Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian Highland Wool - 220 yds/100 g) - shown in 8910, 7803, 8891, 9444

These Felted Nesting Bowls are easy to make and work up super fast. They are a great way to use up scraps of wool, and make an excellent gift.  Just so you know kids love these bowls too! Any kids that get their hands on these want their very own set as they enjoy stacking and restacking them.

"I used Cascade 100% wool to make these bowls because I couldn't resist the bright colours, but any 100% felting wool can be used. If you are mixing and matching keep in mind that different brands of wool may felt differently."

Bowls measure approximately 15 1/2 cm (6") in circumference, 5 cm (2") deep for smallest bowl, and 25 1/2 cm (10") in circumference, 7cm (3") deep for largest bowl.

Honeycomb Cable Hat - Greenland

I got the brilliant idea this year to knit a number of people gifts.  I managed to finish 6 projects in the month of December and write out the patterns for most of them.  One of my favorites was this lovely cabled hat knit in Greenland .  Greenland is one of my favorite yarns - it has this amazing springy twists and has fabulous stitch definition.  Sadly, I seem to never get a chance to knit it. The finished hat shown is for an average adult - finished (unstretched) measurement is 7" wide and 8" long from the cast on edge.  I cast on 88 stitches.  It can easily be adapted to be smaller (cast on 80 stitches) or larger (cast on 96 stitches).
