Patternfish - Textured Socks - Designed by Lisa Ellis

Textured Socks Designed by Lisa Ellis Knit in Heritage - 75% Merino Superwash Wool/25% Nylon - 437 yds/100 g "A woven stitch pattern combined with a giant oversized cable makes this sock visually appealing and rich in texture," says Ellis. We are agog at the dynamic range on view here. There's the enormous cable of course-- we don't recall seeing a bigger one on any socks anywhere-- offset by the little discreet zigzag woven stitch all around the rest of the leg and the instep. It's a terrifically modern design, witty and fun and cushy and sensual (the stitch patterns add a surprising 3D tactile effect).
